In the three sequels it was her turn to reprise the role. Following her role as the lead in Friends, she reached the heights of notoriety. She received awards and nominations numerous times. This series was hugely successful and aired over 10 years. As of her most recent appearance she played a crucial character on Mothers and Daughters. The awards she has won by her include her TV Guide Award for her character in Friends as well as the Golden Derby Award for her role in the TV series Cougar Town.
