Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as fourteen years old. In addition to BJJ training as well, she was also trained in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. In the age of 18 years old, Ladd had her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd was on a stunning three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent right in the first round. Ladd returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia defeated Aspen and defeated her via unanimity to create an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd bounced back from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record to 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in 2015, signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's debut fight in the Bantamweight division. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen used the superior skills she had learned in wrestling to beat McGill. Aspen ended her fight via an KO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen was a dominant Hoy and defeated her in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion by unanimous decision. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came on UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina and then pounded her on the ground in the second round to secure a TKO victory. Her next fight, against Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the opening round. The winner also got the reward for her performance on the night. Her first major fight came during her subsequent fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Ladd, who won an unanimous decision in some great exchanges with the fighters, was awarded an award of Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her winning streak. Following a brief break after which she went on to beat Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her most recent fight with the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. The fight ended in a unanimous verdict.
