Caterina Scorsone is an American Canadian actress. Caterina has gained notoriety for the role as Dr. Amelia Shepherd in Grey's Anatomy and Station 19 drama. This same role was also played in a show called Private Practice. Francesca Scorsone, her sister's full name, is Francesca. In the Mr. Dressup programme, she was a young child actor. In the cult film Power Play, she played Michelle Parker. Missing is another successful project of her career in which she played Jess Mastriani. In 2009, she showed off her acting talents by playing the role of Alice in a film named Alice. The film's success led her to participate on the television show Grey's Anatomy. The show featured her in the role of Amelia Shepherd. Following a brief appearance as a recurring character her role was elevated to the lead role due to her exceptional performance. She has been involved in numerous projects which have proved to be successful over the course of her career. The actress made her first TV appearance in the year 1996 on an episode called Goosebumps. In 1998, she had her acting debut in All I Would Like to Do.
